Good day, I am new to these forums.
One of the voice has the foot-controller assigned to the reverb send. In performance mode however, as soon as I have the “part select” option active to create a split layout, this assignment is no longer working and the foot controller does nothing. I was going through the performance common settings, where I find an controller assignment page, however there is no option to assign to reverb or chorus send, which seems to available only in he voice mode. Is there really no way, to have this working in a performance with splitted voices? Thank you so much. |

Welcome to the forum.

The problem may be related to a Receive Switch setting. If you initialized the Performance before editing it, the Receive Switch settings for the Foot Controllers defaults to being on. However, if you started with a preexisting Performance, the Foot Controller Receive Switch setting might be off for one or more Parts. If that’s the case, the Foot Controller won’t work. I suggest that you check the “RcvSwitch” setting for the relevant Part, and make sure there’s a check mark in the boxes for Control Change and the Foot Controller (1 or 2). See MIDI Receive settings - [F6] on page 158 of the XS Owner’s Manual.

Controller Assign in Performance mode doesn’t determine the controller destination. The setting there assigns the MIDI Control Change number for each controller for that Performance. Verify that the number matches that in the Voice you’ve chosen. “Foot Control” is CC#04 - Foot Controller 2 defaults to that CC, but Foot Controller 1 might be set to CC#11, which is “Expression”. See Controller settings - [F3] on page 147 of the XS Owner’s Manual.

Hopefully one of the settings mentioned above will resolve the issue. |

Thank you so much for the swift response. The problem was in the Controller Assignments which did not correspond correctly, but learning the midi messages helps a lot. It fixed everything. Best regards. |
