Hi there, this is just a question for anybody who ever owned this synth.  I’m thinking of using as a controller.  So the question is, is the action and keyboard the same as the EX5, or any of the motif 7s?  Any info appreciated, thanks.

The W5 used the same keybed (76-key FS) as the EX5 and the ES7.
Later 76-key Motifs (XS & XF) have the FSX version (no lead used for weight).

Thank you very much 5pin, as always you are a wealth of information.  I’m exploring this option in a way to keep the moxf, and have a softer keyboard to control the moxf and just general midi playing.  I’m familiar with the keyboard of the EX5 so that would be perfect. Thanks again.
