Hello everyone. I have a question. I am trying to record some stuff I recorded on my MOXF8’s sequencer onto Cubase 9.5 Elements; however, I’ve being getting these audio spikes when trying to transfer the music to the software. So my question is would anyone happen to know if you are able to use a USB 3.0 data cable instead of a 2.0? Would appreciate anyone’s input.

BTW, I am using the latest Yamaha USB driver (1.10.4) and have also tried to lower the latency, but I still get those spikes.

The MOXF is on the USB 1.1/2.0 standard, so that is probably not the issue, although a USB 3.0 cable may very well work.

It appears the USB speed standard is fixed by the machine.

See page 61 of the MOXF Owner’s Manual.
