Hi, I am trying to get bi-directional network recognition via Ethernet between my Motif XS and my Windows 10 computer. At this point I am not successful, and the proximate reason is that Windows 10 does not enable SMB1 (Samba 1) by default. I have read up a bit on this, and while it may be possible to re-enable SMB1, there are very strong security reasons not to do so. What I would like to know is if anyone out there does in fact have bi-directional network recognition via Ethernet between their Motif and a Windows 10 computer. If so, how did you achieve it?
