why is my FW driver randomly showing or not showing ? its so annoying , i have to unplug ,restart computer sometimes few times and then suddenly is there and it works ....???

Do you have the most recent driver version for your computer’s OS? I don’t have a FW board so I can’t say much more, but that would be the first thing I’d check. It might be helpful to us if you could list your computer’s Operating System version and brand.

Mac Mini late 2012 ,quad core ,proccessor 2.6 Ghz intel core I7,16RAM, Mojave 10.14.4
Cubase 8pro
motif xf fire wire connection with mac
