This MO DX looks quite interesting as it carries many of the same features of the Montage except some features may have been slimmed down.  The sounds seem to match the Montage exactly and is able to load one gigabyte of samples.

It is short of some knobs and four sliders compared to eight on the Montage, but this wouldn’t bother me as long as I can get what I need.

I don’t know the weight compared to the Montage which if lighter would be especially important to me.

I guess we will see in the near future.
