my first post in a long time. not had much time to play with my moxf synth but starting to get back into it.

just wondering if there is a way to record filter changes e.g changes to the cut off and resonance parameters in either song or pattern mode so that when you play back a recorded phrase it plays back any gradual changes you make to the filter, creating an effect thats similar to what you get in progressive trance music.

thanks in advance

Yes. Cutoff and Resonance are real-time controls, and changes can be recorded to a sequence just as with the MW, PB, etc.

Having said that, you might run into a “stepping” issue with the filters. See http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/470283/

Note that the “Knob Curve” settings mentioned in that thread might be helpful if you do experience filter stepping.

You’re welcome!

If you change the “Knob Curve” settings, please let us know how they work for you.
