I have both the ES and the XF. I also have two Mac Laptops. I upgraded one to OSX High Sierra and it no longer recognizes the ES or the XF. They both run fine on the older one and a small KORG controller also runs correctly on the High Sierra model. Any ideas ? Thanks for your help.

As far as USB MIDI is concerned, which driver are you running?

The one for High Sierra (MacOS 10.13) is version 1.3.2-2:

Hi.
I have read this thread and have been having similar issues.
I recently downloaded and installed Yamaha USB midi driver 1.3.2-2
but I think the download was only 1.3.2.  It doesn’t recognize my Motif XF in Audio Midi Setup.

Any Ideas?

Please verify that the two files shown in that thread are present on your Mac, make the USB “TO HOST” connection, etc. Let us know what you find.
