Since the MOXF8 doesn’t have sliders, is it possible to connect a small midi controller that has sliders and then in PERFORM mode I could use the sliders on the midi controller to adjust the volumes of the 4 parts?  As if I was turning the knobs on the MOXF8?

If yes, would it also work in Song mode?

meant to post this in MOXF thread

Yes, but it might depend on what controller you use.

I have a Behringer BCR and BCF connected (via a PC) and use it to control volume and all kind of other parameters on the Moxf in real time in song mode, and it should also work in Perfomance mode.

With the BC’s you can also connect to the Moxf directly when using standard MIDI cables. Be aware that the BC’s need to be programmed to send the right messages, and most people struggle with that. A good understanding of MIDI messages is needed.

As for other controllers, all will depend on what they are capable of. My guess is that they all need some form of “programming”.
