Hi, been a while since I have posted as lots of illness. As well as a MOXF6 I also have a PSR-S910 keyboard and what I would like to do is create 13 separate patterns and chain them together and save as a midi file. Having exported it to my PC, I want to open it in my DAW and assign text markers for the various sections. Then rename the midi file to a PSR style extension, edit the CASM and should then have created a Style file compatible with my PSR. Before starting this I need to ask if the first part of the project on the MOXF will work in creating the MIDI file. Please don’t worry about the PSR side of things as I am clued up on that. Many thanks in anticipation. Grandad |

Yes there is always a way. You can record the section in pattern mode, chain then save them as a song and save the song in SMF and voila you’ve got your midi file and then you can be along your merry PSR way. Even if you had more than 16 sections you could piece them together with a little extra effort. |

Many thanks lastmonk, I just wanted to check if the first part of my project was feasible. I shouldn’t need more than 15 patterns as the style files only require that number. once again many thanks Grandad1946 |
