Can anyone shed light on how I would have the vibrato fade in (delayed) automatically?

I see many of the sax voices have that feature, however upon reverse engineering those, it appears the vibrato is built into the waveform? I did try google and the search here however nothing came up.

Thanks in advance.

Many of the XF’s Waveforms have built-in vibrato - the samples were recorded with it. However, if you start with a Waveform that doesn’t have vibrato, you can use an LFO (Low Frequency Oscillator) to add it. Common LFO information is on pages 62-64 of the XF Reference Manual. For Element LFO see page 82. Pitch modulation, typically used with the triangle waveform, will provide vibrato - delay, fade-in time, and depth can be set.

The Synthesizer Parameter Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/48523) also has LFO coverage, on pages 34-40.

You’re welcome, but don’t forget to take advantage of other diversions.  :-)
