Just “upgraded” my studio from my Yamaha ES8 to a Yamaha XS8.

I am trying to use all the files of songs/patterns etc. that I made over the years on my ES8 on my XS8.

The only thing I’ve come up with is going back through all the songs and saving them on the ES8 as SMFs.

Is there a faster way to “bulk” transistion from the ES8 format to the EX8.

Welcome to the forum.

Although you posted in the Motif XF forum, it appears that you have an XS8. (There is no “EX8”.) Fortunately, the answer for both the XS and XF is the same.
