Hi.

I need to know how to send expression from song-/pattern-mode without an expression pedal to midi (daw) not using remote tools etc.

From a knob. I can send volume etc but I need to send expression when recording/playing midi…

How?

I presume that your question relates to this:
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/viewthread/478645/

In theory, it’s possible to set ASSIGN 1/2 knobs to CC#1~95 - see page 145 of the MOXF Reference Manual.

However, I’m not sure that what you’re asking for can be done:

This explains what can be done:

Hi 5pinDin.

Yes and no.
I use the controller input to CC4 using BC.
The Remotetools can be used with cubase and sometimes I use an other daw or no daw at all. And I sometimes dont get how it works.

When playing strings etc I use a lot of EXP and I like to do it by hand. Not using my foot.

I will take a look at it later when I have my gear set up.

Thanks.

If you don’t need to use the Mod Wheel for another purpose, its output via CC#1 can be remapped externally to CC#11.

That can be done using a Windows utility, MIDI-OX (http://www.midiox.com/), with its “Data Mapping” function.
