Hi Everyone,

O.K. Now have another question.

I have a performance that I am playing in a SONG where I am playing a Hammond B-3 type sound with my left hand on a controller keyboard that is transmitting to my MOTIF XF8 on channel 5. I can trigger a vibrato effect with a footswitch, but it starts and ends instantly when I put my foot down and lift it off. I want to recreate that thing that happens on the B-3 where the vibrato effect from the Leslie horns would take some time to spin up to full speed and slow to a stop when a footswitch was pressed and released.

Is there some way of creating a “spin-up” and and ‘spin-down” effect that can be controlled with a footswitch on the MOTIF? Surely there there must be…

Best,
Grant

The Leslie sim effect is not Vibrato, it is Rotary Speaker...in generic terms.

You can read all about it Here.

And yes, you can set it up to have it triggered with a foot switch.  This Thread has some good information dealing with that part of the issue.
