I didn’t find any reference in this forum to the possibility to do a “self test” on the MOXF, so here’s a link that might come in handy.

That site has the advantage of showing what the display looks like for each test, but leaves out details for several of the tests that are included in the MOXF6/MOXF8 Service Manual.

To anyone thinking of running the Test Program…
If there’s nothing obviously wrong with your MOXF, I suggest not running the tests. If you do so anyway, be careful to keep volume levels down, as some of the output tests can be loud.

As to servicing…
If you know what you’re doing, the SM can be helpful. If you’re inexperienced in electronics, your MOXF probably isn’t the place to learn.

Know your limitations.  :-)
