Hi Motif Fans. I’ve been working on designing a nice piano voice that takes advantage of all eight elements. Of course, the piano elements take up the lion’s share, but that still leaves me a couple of elements to add strings, pads, etc. So that’s easy enough, just pull up Piano & Strings, and you’re good to go, right? Well, I would also like to be able to use the two Assignable Controllers on my MIDI Controller to raise or lower the volume of the strings. Okay, to do that I set one of the Assignable Controllers to adjust the E-level, and just for elements 7 and 8 where my strings are. The above is just for starters. I’m just trying to find out if anyone else has come up with some good ideas on how to do this type of thing. I would also be interested in finding more ways to “tweak” effects using the sliders on my MIDI controller. For example, it may not have a ribbon, but why couldn’t I just assign that CC# to Slider #3 and utilize that to adjust my delay level? Okay, now it’s your turn to share.
Cheers,
