Hello,

I have no idea what I’m doing wrong but I create and edit my .WAV samples in Steinburg WavLab, they are 16 bit, 44,100 hz, and sound clear as a bell when I play them on my computer.  I then load them into a MotifXS track in a pattern or into a track on a song and they sound really fuzzy - very low quality.  What am I doing wrong?

Any information appreciated.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, “really fuzzy - very low quality” isn’t sufficient information to diagnose the problem.

I suggest that as a start you use the Integrated Sampling display and…
1) Verify that the Waveforms are indicated as 44.1 kHz
2) Audition the Waveforms and determine how they sound independent of other influences
(See page 162 of the XS Owner’s Manual.)

Let us know what you determine.
