When playing a particular performance I’d like the modwheel to just affect one of the voices in that performance. Is this possible? At the moment it’s applying the affect across all voices.

You’ll have to edit the voices, I think. I have the XF, not the MOXF, but the mod wheel control is handled in the Controller Set screen at the Voice level and is not available in Performance mode. Check your Reference Manual.

You can select which PARTS of your PERFORMANCE respond to cc messages generated by the controllers.

See page 69 of the MOXF Reference Manual, [F5] RCV SW (Receive Switch)

Set the MW to OFF for the PARTS desired, in the specified window, and they won’t respond to the MOD WHEEL.

Just a general comment about this synth....

I’m not one for reading user manuals but obviously have to do so for things such as this. It’s only when I start reading topics like this one that I realise just how much you can do with the MOXF.

Considering the price I paid new a couple of years ago, the sounds you can get out of it, the features etc I think this thing is one hell of a bargain! OK it won’t satisfy the analogue purists but who cares if it’s digital or analogue if it can do most things I want :)

Edit - for future reference if anyone else is wondering about this same subject of controllers, I found this as well as the user manual helpful:-
