Hi guys!

I’m facing some doubts while reading the MOXF data list. I would like to receive a Voice Dump from my MOXF in order to read every paramenter of the individual elements. What is the Sysex command for a Voice Dump Request to the keyboard? (if it exists)

Welcome to the forum.

The Dump Request message is of the form…
F0 43 20 7F 1C 00 aH aM aL F7
...where aH aM aL are the High, Medium, and Low address bytes.
See (3-6-4) DUMP REQUEST on page 121 of the MOXF Data List, Bulk Dump Block on page 124, and MIDI PARAMETER CHANGE TABLE (BULK CONTROL) on page 125.

Examples:
To request a dump of the currently selected Normal Voice from the Edit Buffer,
send this…
F0 43 20 7F 1C 00 0E 0F 00 F7

To request a dump of the currently selected Drum Voice from the Edit Buffer,
send this…
F0 43 20 7F 1C 00 0E 2F 00 F7

Hello 5pindin,

yes it was exactly what I was looking for, thank you ;)
I was wondering where I can find a list of the addresses of the different modes such as the ones you gave me (0e 0f 00 and 0e 2f 00) in the data list.
This information is for a somewhat complex programming project, should I open a thread about it?

You’re welcome.

See the previous reference on page 125.

Without knowing where this might go, for now this thread seems as good as any.
