Hello, Does anyone know what MOXF ARP pattern number(s) can be used to create 16th and/or 32nd note snare drum rolls? If so, I would greatly appreciate the info. Yeah I know I’m being a bit lazy here. I did go through a couple of thousand of them looking for the right sound but just thought I’d ask before I checked all 8000 of them to find something that someone else may already have discovered. Thank you. Jeff R. |

Thank you Vetalexy. It would have taken me a long time to get through that many ARP patterns to find those. : ) I appreciate the reply. Jeff |

I don’t know if you’ll find this useful, but there are also some sampled snare drum rolls, Waveform numbers 3204, 3256, 3257, 3258, and 3331. |

Thanks 5pinDIN, I did see those are patterns listed in the MOXF Data List reference manual but when I tried them out, they were not snare rolls… unless you have to use a specific drum kit to get them to be rolls. I was using the Modern Rock Kit and they were definitely not roll patterns. Any thoughts on that? Thanks for your faithful assistance. : ) Jeff R. |

The numbers I listed are Waveforms - the rolls are sampled.
In PDR 5 Modern Rock Kit, 3201 is used on key F0. If you edit that key, you can easily try the other Waveforms by changing the “Wave Number” setting. Several of the other Preset Drum Kits have drum rolls on F0. See the Drum Kit Assign List on pages 13 - 31 of the MOXF Data List. |

Awesome, thanks again for the help. I’ve had the keyboard for nearly 3 years now but I’m still learning new stuff about it all the time. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? : ) Take care 5pinDIN Jeff |

It’s been said for a long time that the Motifs are “deep”.

This “old dog” thinks most of us can learn new tricks. Â :-) |
