I have a MOFX8 that I’ve put in a hollowed out piano shell (it looks really cool), but the power switch is difficult to access on the back.  I’d like to be able to plug it (and some speakers) into a power strip of some kind, and use that as the master on/off, but when I try that, it doesn’t power on automatically, even though the power switch on the keyboard is depressed in the ON position.  Anybody know of a way I can make this happen?  I’ve looked through the manual, and didn’t see anything…

That’s strange.
When I first read this, I assumed that there was also some ‘soft start’ circuitry involved. When testing by pulling the cable out of the back of my own MOXF6, wait half a minute or so, and then put it back, it booted as normal.
