Need quick help! Just bought the MOXF8 and need to transfer a vocal sample for David Bowie’s Fame, from the Motif ES to the MOXF8. Is this possible? Is this where I use the flash card? I apologize for the remedial question but I literally just started learning the new board and I play in a few days.

Do you still have the ES (please edit your member profile so that it shows the models you use), or just a file from it?

I still have the Motif ES

You could create a Song on the ES that just plays the sample, and resample it…
http://www.motifator.com/index.php/support/view/motif_motif_es_transferring_songs_to_a_computer_resampling
...or you could use a DAW or other audio recording application to capture the sound. Once you have a 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV file, that can be loaded to the MOXF’s flash module.

Please update your member profile to indicate which models you use. That information (http://www.motifator.com/index.php/forum/members/14241/) can help us help you.
