Hi! I have been recording/performing using a Shure SM57 microphone as my vocal mic/accordion mic. What I have noticed is that In the recordings, the sound from it only comes out of either the right speaker or the left speaker. So I thought, “Maybe I have the Inputs set up wrong.” So I went online and found this article: https://www.yamahasynth.com/resources/setting-up-a-microphone-motif-xf/322-setting-up-a-microphone-motif-xf I had the Mono/Stereo section set to stereo, and I was only inputting via the L-MONO A/D jack. I switched it to only l-mono, as per the article above, but now I get no sound whatsoever, whether for recording, or live use. I have the gain knob on the back set quite high, and there is no sound at all. Do I have something set up wrong? Thanks! |

OK. Stupid mistake! I turned the A/D knob the wrong way. 8-( Sorry! Working too late at night, I guess. |

OK. I have never had good luck with the Motifator Support section - I always end up on spam pages. it is easier to just do a general search, in my opinion. Thanks though! |
