hi all, can waveforms and voices can be loaded directly to moxf internal memory or do we need flash memory module? i tried to load 15mb of .x3a but getting error message as no flash module installed or module is unformatted.. if we can save files direct to intermal memory what is the memory size limit?
i could load voices by checking out waveform but could not get any sounds on the keys. it looks like x3 waveform is required to make sound.
sorry it might be silly as i am new to moxf..

In a MOXF, no User Waveforms can be loaded unless a flash module is installed. A Motif XF “all” (.X3A) file with no samples is typically a little over 2 MB - if larger, there are likely samples.

Certainly a 15 MB file has about 13 MB of samples. Voices from such a file will load to the MOXF User memory, but as you found they won’t play if dependent on missing (unloaded) Waveforms.
