Do any of you know if there is a software that could read m3a files so that I can view the performance setup (Voices used etc.)

Just replaced my XF with a Montage and would like to program similar performances. Got a backup X3a file but no XF anymore.

I have the John Melas software, but the performance editor requires a Motif XF to be connected to open a file.

Any suggestions

Thank you

Doesn’t the Montage directly load XF “All” files?

I have not tried it yet, but for what i read it seams like only User voices, user arpeggios, user waveforms can be imported.

The MONTAGE does not recognize the MOTIF XF’s Performance data.

I will try and let you know.

As far as I know, there’s a problem with sample data from some Motif libraries, but otherwise Motif X3A files (including Performances) should load. The Montage has eight-Part Performances, but no Voice mode - XF Voices load as one Part of a Montage Performance. XF Performances load as four of the eight Parts.

If you want to further discuss the Montage, please post in the Mo Lounge forum…
