Is there any way to change the opening Performance when starting up my Motif XF to another one besides always that Inner Wind one?

Unless it’s been changed from the factory setting, the XF powers on with Master 001 selected, which is associated with the “Inner Wind” Performance.

To change that, see (2) Power On Mode on page 223 of the XF Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/48531). Note that no matter which mode is selected for power-on, the Program will be the first one (001). If that particular Voice/Performance/Master is not your preference, then copy the one that is to the mode’s USER1 001 location and select the appropriate USER type for power-on mode.

Be sure to STORE any changes you make.
