i was wondering if its possible to design a function ? I’d like to assign PLAY to Af2 . i didnt see it listed as i scrolled thru.

Do you mean Play for starting sequencer? In that case much better solution is to set foot switch to this, by selecting Utility mode than press [F4] CTL ASN (Controller Assign). Choose [SF2] FT SW (Foot Switch), than FS and select play/stop as option. No you could start and stop sequencer without moving your hands from keyboard. Of course if this is what you want.

I’m curious - why not use the dedicated TRANSPORT [â–º](Play) button?
