For example: Waveform 1 of a Normal Voice includes samples that are layed out chromatically across the keys (each key gets its own sample assigned) and all are set to be triggered at 0 - 40 velocity range. Is it possible (with a custom pre sequenced arpeggio I suppose ?) to make note repeats (preferably in legato style) of those samples when keys are hit at 0 - 40 velocity range? I would of course like to do the same for Waveforms 2 (41 - 70), 3 (71 - 110) and 4 (111 - 127 vel. range) of the same Voice. |

It’s certainly possible to have a note repeat by using either a Preset Arp or one you create. If Arpeggio Key Mode is set to “thru”, the arpeggiated notes will reflect the velocity with which the key is struck. As to “legato style”, you would set the Voice’s Play Mode to “mono”, but how close to true legato that would result in depends on characteristics of the Waveform. |

Great and thanks a bunch 5pinDIN for your as always very helpful reply! Now some more details. Repeats need to be synced to the tempo of the song / pattern and with options to choose different time signatures / quantize resolutions like 8th note triplet repeats for example. Possible? By legato I meant that preferably there should be no silence gaps between repeated notes so gate time should be adjusted to 99 or 100% right? Is this possible too? All samples to be repeated are at least 4 seconds long (have no loop points) so much longer than any quantized value I will use therefore no chance for gaps because of this. Thank you! |

See SyncQtzValue (Sync Quantize Value) on pages 57 and 82 of the MOXF Reference Manual (http://download.yamaha.com/file/60478). Is that what you’re looking for? |
