Please explain MO8 Data list.
I am trying to change my mo8 patches externally and I have some understanding of MSB/LSB and PC but I don’t really know how this relates to the MO8 data list. The data list gives MSB and LSB but not the Bank it seems. For example the Phaser Vin is MSB 063, LSB 001 but the number is B02. How do I tell it to go to bank B?

Thanks for your help

Please explain MO8 Data list.

Welcome to the forum.

Andys -

I am trying to change my mo8 patches externally and I have some understanding of MSB/LSB and PC but I don’t really know how this relates to the MO8 data list. The data list gives MSB and LSB but not the Bank it seems. For example the Phaser Vin is MSB 063, LSB 001

Voice Phaser Vin is in bank PRE 1, for which the MSB = 63, but the LSB = 0 (not 1).

but the number is B02. How do I tell it to go to bank B?

See the Bank Select table on page 62 of the MO Data List for bank MSB/LSB. Note that “Program No.” ranges from 0~127. From page 2 of the Data List, Phaser Vin is indeed B02, but also known as Number 18 in the bank. Since we start counting from 0(zero), for the purposes of PC the Program Number is one less.

So, to select Phaser Vin…
Bank Select MSB/LSB = 063/000
Program Change = 017
