Hi All, After my recent purchase, I now have a Montage as well as my MOXF keyboards. I was wondering if anyone know how to (if possible) utilise the “Bösendorfer 290 Imperial Premium Grand Piano” for MOXF (as opposed to Montage)?
Many Thanks!

The only way I can see that happening is to use the MOXF as a controller to trigger the Bose, but why would you want to do that? Is your MOXF an 8 and your Montage a 6? If so, that would make sense. You will not be able to LOAD that piano into your MOXF, sorry, if that’s what you are thinking. |

I think the Bosendorf is a 3 part Performance, there’s been a lot of chatter over on yamahasynth.com about playing a multi part piano by external controller. Not sure if you can play the full version via controller ... |

The chatter was about a different 4-part piano, but I assume the concept/issue will be the same. the way I read it the current Montage firmware would require each part to be on a separate midi channel? then to play all 4 parts in the Montage sound module you would have to send key on/off on 4 separate channels from the controller board (not sure I’m fully getting it) |
