Hi

I lost the original power cable of my Motif....is there any problem if I just go and buy a computer cable and use it instead?

A standard IEC AC power cord, 3-conductor, minimum 18-gauge, with plug to match grounded outlets in your area of the world, should work. Lower gauge number (such as 16) will handle more current and is acceptable, although not necessary.

As long as the “computer cable” fits those requirements (most should), it will be acceptable.
