Hi sometimes my Motif ES 6 gets stuck at the boot screen “YAMAHA Logo” and sometimes at “Checking Plugin Board”. Although I have no plugin boards installed and have also taken out the RAM. If I keep powering On and off then it comes alive and performs normally. What might be the problem. I am not using any Power surge boards or anything else. Have directly plugged it in the wall electrical socket. Also have changed the Power cable. Please Help..!! Have been using this great instrument for 13 years with no hitch and now suddenly this problem.

I’d take it to a service center. This is unlikely to be something you can fix yourself.

My guess is the power supply since cycling power seems to clear it.

I think fulton is right, I had this issue with an XS7. It was caused by miniscule fuses (2mm) that had to be replaced ...
