Pretty much what it says in the title; I want to be able to control the parameters usually controlled by velocity by using an FC7 expression pedal, for string sounds only.  Controlling volume is all well and good, but I feel that controlling all of those parameters (volume, attack, whatever else) with an expression pedal would make for much more natural string parts.  Of course I would also want the string voice to not recognize velocity as well, and I would want it only on a per-voice basis (obviously I still want to be able to control piano sounds with velocity).  Is this possible?  It seems like it should be, but I haven’t been able to find anything on this subject online.
