Hi guys, Happy New Year, I wonder what is the best way to audition the arpeggios?

Suggest exploring auditioning the arpeggios in the PERFORMANCE Mode.

The second post in this thread - while talking about auditioning arpeggios in the MotifXF - applies well to the MOXF; just find the relevant sections on the PERFORMANCE mode in your MOXF manual.

I audition arpeggios in the MOX PERFORMANCE mode by:
- selecting a PERFORMANCE I like as a starting point
- muting all parts except the part I’m working on
- put the ARP on HOLD
- Getting into the ARP EDIT function
- scrolling through the ARPs slowly, listening to the new arp; if exploring an ES or XS type arp, playing different chords, e.g. thirds, triads, sevenths, as well as different inversions to hear how the arp responds.
- When finished exploring arps, I save a new PERFORMANCE to my working user bank and go from there. (of course, you can save the PERFORMANCE first, then explore ARPS...)

Note:
- I’ve culled the factory PERFORMANCES and organized into genre-specific and set-specific user banks (user bank 1)
- My working user bank is User Bank 2.

Cheers and a happy new year to you as well.
