Been quite a while since I’ve posted here; I just picked up a MOXF the other day, after having owned a MOTIF 7 and then a Rack ES years ago! Loving the sound, its all that i remember and more!

But… I don’t think I’ve ever used a pitch wheel this awful. Its really throwing me off; its so mushy feeling that I can’t reliably do manual vibrato effects and it’s so sluggish to return to center that slides are problematic too. I can deal with the so-so keyboard action, but that pitch wheel really makes me want to play this thing from another controller.

Has anyone opened this thing up to see what sort of mechanism they used? Perhaps it can be swapped out with a pitch wheel mechanism from another MOTIF? Or maybe there’s some other fix?

I hate for my first post in a decade to be a whiny one, but I’m really looking for a solution here.
