Can anyone help me. I want to loop a melody I made with a synth lead in song mode and I want to loop four measures oh of it but when I hit loop track it only loops the first measure erasing the rest. |

Can anyone help me. I want to loop a melody I made with a synth lead in song mode and I want to loop four measures oh of it but when I hit loop track it only loops the first measure erasing the rest. For this purpose, you should copy recorded MIDI data from song to pattern mode, which is suitable for looping. Song mode is for continuous recording/playing. Alex |

Okay I haven’t tried pattern mode yet. Thanks. Would I be able to set the start measure to end measure of when I want it to loop like in the newer motifs? |

You can loop in song mode on the ES. The limitation is that the loop always starts at the beginning of the song but you can specify the endpoint. See p.238 in the Reference Manual. |
