So I got a Motif es6 for $825 off from eBay with shipping ($750 plus $75 shipping). I had to get it because I needed it desperately. It came with a gator case with wheels. I feel I paid too much for it. |

I don’t think so. I paid 900.00 a year ago for same deal |

Welcome to Motifator.com! The ES, in many people’s opinion, is still a real gem of an instrument. You may not have quite the interactivity, arpeggio-wise, of the XS, and obviously not the sample-saving potential available on an XF. But for clear, punchy and solid sounds, and a user interface that’s fast and easy to navigate, you have yourself a winner. It’s always tough to assess used prices as it’s a balance between condition, extras, and one’s own ‘need’, which you say is or was pressing. I think you got a fair deal with the case included and, if you don’t already know this, the ES will repay your investment with plenty of years of active and reliable service. |
