I’m pretty new to the Yamaha S90-ES. Though I’ve played a number of similar boards several years ago (such as the Motif), I’m quite rusty & have forgotten how to do a number of basic things like combining two voices.

Can someone please provide instructions regarding how to use two voicings simultaneously? Specifically, I’d love to start by combining the “Natural S” voice from the A. Piano category with the “Analog” voice from the SynPad/Choir category.

Is there a way I can control which voice is dominant using the sliders? Thanks so much for the help. I apologize for my ignorance.

Welcome to the forum.

The procedure for what you’re asking about is well covered in the S90 ES Owner’s Manual. See pages 36-37.

If you don’t have the manual, a PDF copy is available here:
