I have a Yamaha Motif ES as a Master.  The M3 is the slave.

In the M3, I have a combi set up to play multiple voices on different channels depending on how I have it set up in my Song on the Yamaha.  (I’m playing live, not recording a sequence).  For some reason, what is a normal volume on the M3 is being played VERY LOUD on the Yamaha.  I’ve checked volumes and everything I can think of. 

This isn’t a problem in MASTER mode, but I have to use Song because of various tracks that I switch to in the song.  I’m guessing it’s because I’m using it in a SONG on the Motif, but not sure where the problem is.

I’m not sure which is the problem, the master or the slave.  So I’m posting in both forums.

I just figured it out.  I had to re adjust the velocity curve in the global settings of the M3.  (slapping my forehead)
