Hi everybody,

I perform in a show using a Yamaha Motif XF8 keyboard.

I also use an MOX 8 in my personal setup. I would like to know if patches, performances etc are interchangeable between these two keyboards via the USB socket and a flash drive. I could try...but don’t want to mess anything up with my show!

There’s no direct compatibility between MOX and XF data. Third party software (such as from John Melas) can often be used to convert files for Voices and Performances. Songs and Patterns are probably best transferred via Standard MIDI Files (SMFs).
