When in performance mode, sometimes I realize that I want to change the insert effects on one of the parts.  I know in mixing mode you can drop into the voice edit and then store it as a mixing voice.  But it seems this type of function is not available in Performance Mode.  Is the only option to go to the voice, manually edit it and store it as a User Voice, and then go back to the performance and switch the voice to the new one?
