Hello, A certain voice (St:CelloEnsem in S90ES) would fit my goals, but its attack is too abrupt and loud for plausible legato and demiduendo. I tried to use the built-in S90ES voice editor to alleviate the attack, but did not succeed. A suitable solution would be gradual growing of its amplitude from 0 to 100% during first 0.2 seconds. Is this possible for S90ES? I think this question is of general interest for all Motif models. |

To adjust the AEG Attack, see page 114 of the S90ES Owner’s Manual.
If you don’t have the manual, a PDF copy can be downloaded:

Thanks a lot 5pinDIN! I not only succeed to alleviate the attack but also got beautiful pan tweaking in this voice. BTW, does a detailed voice editing manual exist, which describes all these graphical voice tweaking means? |

You’re welcome!

The Owner’s Manual has the information, although it can take some effort to find the correct pages. If you have only a paper copy, download the PDF, which can be searched for particular terms.
There’s also a Synthesizer Parameter Manual which might be of some help:
In addition, there are Voice and Multi Part Editors (as well as several other useful downloads) available here. |
