I have an old S90. I have Sonar Artist. I found a couple weblinks to S90 .ins but when I click download it opens as text in the browser rather than downloading an .ins file. What am I missing. Do I save as .txt? Will that upload into Sonar? http://faq.yamaha.com/us/en/article/index/id/1377/?search_query=.ins instrument definition¤t_page_id=1 thanks |

I don’t use Sonar, but as far as I know, INS files are text files, but have the INS file extension instead of TXT. See http://tweakheadz.com/how-to-build-a-cakewalk-ins-file/ Since you didn’t provide any information in your member profile, I don’t know what computer OS you’re using. After I clicked the download at http://sunflowerhead.com/s90/, the file opened in the Firefox browser I’m using. Under the browser’s “File” menu I’m able to select “Save Page As”, and it will save “YamahaS90.ins”. |

Hey thank you. That makes sense and I did save the file. Will attempt to import and report back in case that helps others. I am Win 8 and using Chrome in this case. |

Hey this did work. I did a save as and it saved as .txt. I just changed it to .ins and it imported and worked just as intended. Thanks!! |
