FW.connected to my iMac works great playing virtual instruments. However the FW Performance Part pareters

Chorus Send
Wet

Have no effect on the voice.

My A/D Input part works great so what am I missing?

Which of the three stereo pairs in the FW return are you using?

This is not explained at all in the reference manual for some reason. See p.3 in the MOTIF XF Extension Owner’s Manual where it shows the output buses (example shown for Cubase, but the same three buses will be seen by any audio software).

From the reference manual p.191:

Lets you set parameters related to audio input from the
IEEE1394 connector (available when the optional FW16E is
installed). The audio signal here is transmitted from the
computer via FW Ports 3 and 4.

Make sure your DAW and/or virtual instruments are sending to this port.

The other two FW ports go straight to the output jacks and bypass the mixer entirely.
