How do I get Logic Pro X to send a bank change request to my MOXF8?

Currently I"m sending:
Control 0: Value 63
Control 32: Value 2 -> for say bank 2.

The MOXF8 always remains in the GM bank and never changes to bank 2.

Below is my Event List from Logic Pro X.

Argh!

Ideas?

Thanks

-Mike

Hi Soniq2,

Welcome to the forum.

What mode are you using your MOXF8 in when you do that?

Voice, Performance, Song or Pattern.

It’s not your Bank MSB and LSB.

Have a look at the 4th item called Program on your event list.  In the Num column, you have a 0, but what you really need is a -

0 will always be GM, the - should be available in the drop down menu before 0.

Keep everything else the same and just change that.

It doesn’t signify anything, whereas the 0 signified GM.

No worries, you’re welcome.

With a Multi Instrument you wouldn’t have to mess with the controllers all the time. I’m using these for years to quickly step through the banks and sounds of my synths.
