Hello, I’ve purchased finally, my new MOXF6!!! and I have to say I’m really satisfied about the voices and the possibility to put some other voices and libraries in the flash rom!! But I have a question : can I put files with the extension .XOV and .XOE in my MOXF6?? Thanks a lot in advance to all the community! |

Welcome to the forum. Motif XS files with extension .X0V (All Voice) and .X0E (Editor) can’t be directly loaded to a MOXF. There’s third-party software available that can convert XS Voice data so that the MOXF can use it. Another possibility is for the owner of a Motif XF to convert the file data for you. Any Mixing data in the Editor file can’t be used by the MOXF. |

Ok, just because I wish to purchase the Motif Vocal Xpressions by Digital Sound Factory and I wasn’t shure if my Moxf was able to recognize these extensions. Now I can buy with safety. Thanks a lot for the reply and all the best! |

Just to make sure we’re on the same page…
That library has about 350 MB of samples. I’d suggest that unless you already have software such as that from John Melas, before purchasing the library look at http://www.jmelas.gr/motif/index.php and http://www.jmelas.gr/motif/wave.php |

Ok, Libraries purchased (350 MB) and installed the software Motif Waveform Editor Demo. Now I need to purchase the software, because in the demo version the conversion is disabled. It’s my intention to purchase the “complete pack” but there are four different kind of the same software : Motif ES , S90 ES , Motif Rack ES , MO6/MO8 ...which one I need?? I think Motif ES but I’m not sure!! Thanks a lot. |

As far as I know, you’ll need the Waveform Editor, for which I previously provided this link:
I’d suggest that you contact John Melas, tell him what you want to do, and ask him to verify which program is needed:
