Hello,
F0 43 10 7F 1C 00 0A 00 01 03 F7 I know how to select a song number (example song n. 4): F3 03
And I thought I also knew how to change the track number.
3F 3C 0-15 But it doesn’t work. Can anybody help me please? Nicola |

Welcome to the forum. 3F 3C 0-15 are the MSB (in Hex), LSB (in Hex), and range of Program Number to select a Mixing Voice, as per the MOXF Data List.
If you describe what you need to do in more detail (not “change the track number"),

Yes, I understood that you wanted to emulate pushing a track button, but that can’t be done via MIDI. If you explain what the actual goal is - why (for what purpose) you want to do that - there may be a way to make things work for you.
In other words…

I presume that you meant to write B = 3. OK, there’s no way I’m aware of to easily select those splits and layers in Song mode via an external device. However, you could certainly make the button selection easier to remember. Why not set things up so only the first four or five buttons are needed? It would require rearranging the MOXF’s Song Parts/Voices.
Track 1 would address one of the Parts for “A”
Once that’s done, you could, for example…
Perhaps you could also have your PDF refer to those numbers [1]~[5], without (or in addition to) the letters. Obviously, it would take some work to make the changes, but once done it should be easy to push the correct button. |
