I think I shall have to insert an event at the end of the song for

“Stop playback and go to beginning”

Doesn’t the sequencer in your XS return to the beginning of a Song and stop, once it’s completed, without intervention?

Or do you want it to “rewind” and replay the Song?

Not sure what you want to happen and, more’s the point, why? Can you give some more details about the relationship between a click track and needing to ‘rewind’ etc? Not to be pedantic or anything but I don’t think there’s a rewind knob. It’s a button but, as mentioned, the Song should automatically go back to the top once it comes to the end. Maybe we’re missing some info here?

Problem solved!

My “problem” was that the song did not stop after playing the click track. so I had to stop and rewind it by using the buttons of the sequencer.

I now discovered the reason: the click-track contained yellow marked measures without data. After removing them the song automatically stops where it should stop and rewinds to startposition.
