Welcome to the forum. Try wiggling the power connection at the rear of the MOXF, to determine if there’s a problem there. If the power connection is reliable, I’d suggest that you set Auto Power Off to ”off”. That setting won’t be changed if you should load an “All” file that happens to have a different setting - any other setting could be changed. Please read the entire section on page 18 of the MOXF Owner’s Manual, including the NOTICE part, which explains in detail how Auto Power Off works. If the above doesn’t help determine what’s happening, then it might indeed be time to have your MOXF looked at. |

Hi there Since you’re gigging with it, the first thing I’d check would be cable and connector from power supply. They’re likely to take a beating. Best of luck! |

I had a similar problem at a gig last June with my MOXF6. Ultimately i determined that the band was pulling too much power for the circuit. I guess the MOXF sensed low current and shut itself down for protection. We ran a long extension cord to another outlet on a different breaker and the problem completely disappeared. Hopefully this helps you get to the bottom of your issue. |

update so far - going through Yamaha for warranty work - drove the board to the authorized Yamaha service guy about 30 minutes away - he said he had to order a new internal power supply - going to be next week before I get it back - so, two gigs where I haven’t been able to use it - good news is that the tech said he doesn’t anticipate this happening again!

Ok. Hopefully final update. Tech replaced the internal power supply. Said he had not seen this issue before. Hopefully all is good with my MOXF6! Looking forward to getting back to playing and gigging it! Tech was a great guy, who had done some sound equipment installation in my church. Small world. No problems with warranty claim. |
