Hi,

I got my XF 6 for two weeks now and I´m still thinking about the setup. I´m using the XF together with Mainstage 3.

Most “Sounds” that I use for the band contain backing tracks or a click. My idea is now to use songs or patterns in MASTER MODE. This works fine so far but I could not figure out how to get a pattern chain gets played in MASTER MODE. Or do I have to use SONG instead ?

Welcome to the forum.

I’d suggest converting the Pattern Chain to a Song. See page 45 of the XF Owner’s Manual and Pattern Chain on page 171 of the XF Reference Manual and Convert to Song on page 174.

Ok thanks. Since I only have two patterns (vocal count in and loop for rest of the song) I thought I could get around that.

If you only have two Sections in your Pattern, once the Pattern is called up from your Master List, can’t you just go from one Section to the other in real time?
